Full-time Fire/Medic

Requirements & Position Information

Position Requirements:

 

  • Current Ohio Paramedic certification.

  • Current Ohio Firefighter II certification.

  • Current Ohio driver’s license.

  • Clean driving record. (No more than 4 points)

  • NIMS 100 & 700 (Can be obtained online)

  • Current certificate of completion of a physical agility test from either Stark State or Tri-C. Certificate is considered current if dated one-year or sooner at time of appointment.

Canton Township offers the following benefits:

 

  • Fire/Medic starting yearly salary of $51,029 with top scale of $65,750

  • Compensated CE and training at overtime rates.
