Requirements & Position Information
Position Requirements:

Current Ohio Paramedic certification.

Current Ohio Firefighter II certification.
-
Current Ohio driver’s license.
-
Clean driving record. (No more than 4 points)

NIMS 100 & 700 (Can be obtained online)

Current certificate of completion of a physical agility test from either Stark State or Tri-C. Certificate is considered current if dated one-year or sooner at time of appointment.
Note: Documentation of the above requirements will be required at time of interview.
Canton Township offers the following benefits:

Fire/Medic starting yearly salary of $46,398 with top scale of $59,771
